We’re happy to say that we will be flying home on Tuesday
afternoon after what we can only describe as an extremely trying four
days.
We’d like to thank our good friend, guitar enthusiast and ex-Rick Astley associate David Morris MP for sorting out our passport
difficulties with the British Consulate today. Without him we’d be stuck
here all week.
Also, thank you to José Angel, manager of our hotel tonight in Madrid. After being informed that we would be unable to check
in due to lack of passports, Jim asked to speak to the manager. José
came out and happened to be wearing two lapel badges; one of a guitar
and a Queen one! After showing him pictures of Jim with Brian May and
Jim on the Brian May Guitars website we managed to overcome this
difficulty!
Also many thanks to Rob Fodder today for sorting our BA
bookings. What a star!!
We’ve many more people to thank who have helped
us over the weekend which we will get around to over the next few days.
In the meantime as you can see our singer has coped in his usual style!!
I hope Merv got his Bass back after thieving Scumbags broke into the Tour bus. Saw the Band at Holmfirth ten days ago and I have to say were absolutely magnificent, and I did what Steve recommended, bought The Italian Job. Absolutely bang on, great album and DVD.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work lads.
Cheers! Thanks for coming to see us in Holmfirth. Glad you're enjoying the new DVD!
DeleteHi guys!!
ReplyDeleteHappy to know that you are already at home. I went to see your show with Dare in Madrid. It's my third time with you live and I just hope that....please keep coming. All Spanish fans love you and we will always be by your side. I hope that you return as soon as you can to Spain, so that you keep great memories of our country.
"There is no load that WE can not hold
A road so rough this I know
WE 'll be there when the light comes in
Tell 'em we're survivors "
Thanks for your support Raul. We'll be back!
